Beautiful, one of the few of theirs that I still listen to with pleasure.

Horrifying dicks, but I must admit that this and Metropolis do not inspire murderous feelings towards them.

No bullshit, come on, despite the fact that most of their work bores me to death, one has to admit that technically they are all excellent musicians.

TO THE FIRE! But how dare you put this album above the definition of the one by the Pin Group?!

No worries, the album deserves it. I'm the kind of person who judges the music, not the name behind it, but putting that aside for a moment, what are these pin groups doing?

They do completely the opposite of Dream Theater. And anyway, I listened to "Images and Words" for the first time with the belief that it was a masterpiece.

    The genre? Noise-pop/psychedelia/post-punk/lo- fi.

Very interesting, however I had never heard of it, are there any good records?

The first part is good (without exaggeration). Then the dreadful, tiresome shadows that will characterize their style from then on start to peek through. Scenes From a Memory is still nice with its properly frozen manners. For me, this is a three-star effort. I obviously agree that they are excellent musicians.
P.S. The style proposed is born and dies with the Canadian Rush, the main influence of this insipid band.

...and their fans are more obsessed than those who listen to Carpathian Forest! They believe they are the best, yet they are the most limited beings on this earth, as they only listen to prog metal, rejecting any other genre and disregarding the fact that prog metal has never truly existed, except in the mouths of those who uttered it, because the word prog cannot be associated with metal in any way, as metal itself was born from a musical concept light-years away from what progressive sound usually expresses. This is how the fans of DT are born, the same ones who don’t even know who Jethro Tull or King Crimson are, or if they do, they have never listened to them; and a prog performed with a flute or saxophone solo, they don’t even know what it means, since only Mr. Petrucci’s guitar virtuosity and various followers exist. There you go, I’ve just unraveled the thought of the average "Dream Theater" fan, guys. Do with it what you will...

I'm sorry, but I can't access external content such as YouTube videos. If you can provide the text you'd like translated, I'd be happy to help!

Nameless, sorry my internet went out. They made a few EPs and singles, all gathered on the CD collected by me, "The Pin Group" (also known as "Retrospective"). Complete discography, one CD, yes!

With all due respect (for you, not for them) but the DTs are worse than gonorrhea.

Damn, how beautiful, there are still people who define the Drim Tiater on debasio!!! And then I would love to read a deeper reasoning according to which progressive rock and metal cannot coexist as they come from musical concepts light-years apart.
How nice it would be to understand what these musical concepts are....

Tonight I put "Images and Words" back in the stereo due to some unshakeable will up in the sky. I didn't dislike it, on the contrary, it felt like watching a movie. Very smooth and measured pop progressive. The metal has nothing to do with it, the instrumentation is metal, but the sound is neutral and precise, giving a lot of power and dynamics to the contortions of the compositions. The cover has always directed me, the images in my mind flowed, a mix between Metropolis and the Cowboy Bebop movie. Nostalgia.
