Childhood and I remember every single line perfectly! If you don't like it, you deserve the cine-panettoni.
  • Eh... tell those lovely people @[TwiggyTrace] and @[perfect element]
  • I'm sorry for your childhood :)

I have a beautiful childhood with them, wonderful memories shared with my dad. Now I understand you if you don't like them, but before...
You deserve cine-panettoni for the rest of your lives, well, if you like Boldi and co., that's your problem.

Come on, they were funny, and I'm saying this as someone older than you. But then, who do you think was funny in the 90s?
  • In the 90s, there wasn't much laughter.
  • Cialtronius

    now instead...
  • Now even less...

If you’re emo or depressed, it’s not our fault or theirs if you never laugh...
  • I simply do not laugh at the insignificance of these three guys. Avoid using the plural of majesty; it doesn't help to feel less alone :)

I just don’t understand this thing about "poverty"; it seems to me that their sketches, shows, and films (at least up to "Tu la conosci Claudia") were the true comedic revelation of those years.

The scarcity. Yes. I brought an example. If that is scarcity, then fine oh.

Anyway, if you don't crack a smile at a sketch like this Il Viaggio in Subaru Baracca (intero) - Tel chi el telun then you deserve the cinepanettoni, and what the fuck.

Perfect element, trust me, I’m not alone. One question, but have you really seen the movie or are you just pretending and maybe you even like it? Maybe you’re just here to mess with people...
  • Relax, dear survivor. It was just a joke. I ditched the film after about fifteen minutes and I have better things to do than annoy you. I merely expressed my judgment on the alleged artistic abilities of these three guys and I certainly don't presume that you have to agree with my point of view; but from this to being branded as a nuisance, there's a big difference. Shalom.

Not perfect, but it definitely deserves a 5, surely the best of the discography. The title track is stunning!

I know they are heavily criticized. I don't mind them, I'm being honest, and I really like this album.

I've never really liked them in general, not even in the 90s with Dookie, but this one grabbed me quite a bit; there was urgency, great tracks, and two "suites" that broadened their musical approach, which otherwise was really too limited. It's a pity they didn't follow up with something equally interesting.

The album I wore out back in middle school, and it remains alongside "Dookie" the only one of theirs that I still like.

Aside from the usual high-snob comments, it's an excellent pop-semi-rock album. The kind that was packaged well in the '80s. We can say that Green Day made two or three singles and this album, and that's it. But this remains an album to remember (in pop history). I've always seen it as a sort of new and modern Grease! A pop musical.

Aside from the fact that Gris really sucks to me, I still need to understand why this album can't disgust me without being considered some alt-snob and other random words thrown around by someone who often speaks randomly. Let me get this straight, Gì, you say it’s good, so fine, otherwise you’re just a fucking alt-snob. Very, very logical.

a great semi-rock pop album but also somewhat semi-brutal.

Yes, it's logical. It's logical because your comment comes after mine and therefore it certainly cannot refer to it, don’t you think? Also, I didn't say that this album is great in an absolute sense (that would be going too far) but I contextualized my judgment, just as I didn’t say that anyone who says this album "sucks" is an alt-snob. With words and concepts, we need to be precise. I "speak at random" a whole lot of crap.

"Aside from the usual alt-snob-de-sto-gran-cazzo comments" Which ones?

I swear I know you are right, I’m probably a snobdistograncazzo. I get chills listening to it. I feel out of place.

The comment "alt-snob-de-sto-gran-cazzo" is not your typical remark that simply states "I hate this album," which is, of course, a legitimate opinion. Nor is it "it gives me chills to listen to it," an equally valid comment that describes a mood and physical reactions to listening to an album. No, the comment alt-snob-de-sto-gran-cazzo doesn't fall into any of these categories: it essentially refers to the attempt to ridicule both the album and, consequently, anyone daring enough to listen to it or to give it even a mildly positive judgment, often using hyperboles that are usually associated with a loud laugh or sports banter. In short, the alt-snob-de-sto-gran-cazzo comment is usually as lovely and intelligent as a kidney stone the size of a ripe "cuore di bue" tomato (e.g., an alt-snob-de-sto-gran-cazzo).

It's not that I give 5 stars to every album, I consider this the best album by Green Day and the best Pop Punk album FOR ME.
