With Nursery Crime definitely my favorite by the band. Dancing with... is spine-tingling, great work by Hackett on the guitar.

The Gaber-Luporini duo begins to take hold of us by experimenting with the "theater-song" formula. The prose expands, and the new songs will be remembered as the first classics of the Gaberian repertoire. "Lo shampoo," "La presa del potere," "La libertà" are all here. Pieces that will later be revisited in the subsequent show in a superior form. "Un'idea," on the other hand, remains perfect just as it is, in its bare essence!

To tell the truth, in Gaber's repertoire of classics, there are some that come before the teatro canzone: 'Non arrossire,' 'Barbera e champagne,' 'La ballata del cerutti,' and 'Com'è bella la città' all precede this period. Nonetheless, it's a masterpiece album, just sayin'.

The last live music show before 1984. Gaber and Luporini were keen observers of post-boom Italy. Worth studying, in the most positive sense.
