Abba Father
The catrec, catrec, mmmm this catrec is good. I'm saying it's good, aged, this catreca... of fagg... of fagg. Quand je retourne à la maison, I would like... I would... I would like... (gulp) I just have to put my beautiful backside on this lovely catreca.

I need to go to the bathroom, and... and... I have to go to the bathroom, you know how it is... anyway, yeah... oh... what a hit I took... I have to... I have to... excuse me, but just a moment... because I need to take two drops... I need to change the water in the pipistrel, anyway, I'll be back.

Perhaps the best album by Asia along with the one released XXX years later.

...from a musical standpoint. A pleasant blend of pop, hard rock, and metal.
  • BARRACUDA BLUE

Before recording the album, they secured the exclusive rights to the name, thanks to their well-funded lawyers, forcing the dissolution of a great American band with the same name that had two albums under their belt, far superior to the entire discography yet to come from Wetton & C. When I listened to those two albums, a complete antithesis to the commercial project of four opportunists seeking easy money, I thought, "Not only sellouts, but also incredibly stupid."

...but it sold quite well, especially in the States. The album is enjoyable. Four sly ones? I think so. However, at the beginning, Howe truly believed in this project. Then, as we know: he has a tough character and flew away...................

For now, the album of the year alongside Wide Awake and Joy as an act of resistance.

Italy loses to Germany, I leave the oratory, I hit shuffle on my phone and "Desolation Row" comes on: an 11-minute and 23-second journey home, can you believe it? I cry again just thinking about it.

the beginning of the ascent towards the AOR... monumental
Brian Eno: Music For Films

One of my favorite Eno albums. "Slow Water," "Sparrowfall," "Quartz," "M386," "Strange Light."

Bruce Springsteen: The River

In my opinion, the best by the boss is one of the 10 albums of the 80s. 9/10
Great album, but "Born in the USA" is, in my opinion, a bit of a kitsch.
A disordered experience to the ear but organized to the mind. Rating: from 0 to 10

I don't agree... I think the first 4 albums are very valid in the pop rock genre.. Then the decline..😥

NO, no. They've always been down there; now, they're simply scraping the bottom.

@[perfect element] I'm sorry, but I disagree. For me, the debuts are excellent pop rock albums.

I also think that up to and including Viva la Vida they were an excellent pop-rock band, but starting from Mylo Xyloto, the decline begins...
Crosby, Stills & Nash: Crosby, Stills & Nash
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
No one mentions "Helplessly Hoping," which I think is among their most beautiful tracks. 8.5/10
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young: Four Way Street
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Well, one of the most important live performances in history. The only flaw is the redundant jams of "Southern Man" and "Carry On" which get tiring after a while.
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young: Déjà vu

David Bowie: Low

Everything is super cool... And those 4 monuments on the second facade are really fascinating...
  • massyboy
    17 aug 17
Yes, beauty is right there, in the disparity of the two facades, and with the Bowie/Eno duo it's hard to go wrong... also try 1. Outsider from 1995!
  • Cialtronius

and where do you put this?

Low is my favorite of the Berliners
  • Think of you while this album bores me to tears. And to think I truly have a passion for "Hunky Dory," "...Ziggy Stardust...," "Space Oddity," "Heaten"... I love Bowie, even if I cordially ignore half of his discography and two-thirds of his stylistic turns (particularly the soul of the mid-seventies and the alternative metal of Tin Machine).
David Gilmour: About Face
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
An album that has nothing to envy from the Pink Floyd albums. The peaks, in my opinion, are "Murder," "Out Of The Blue," "Cruise," and the splendid farewell "Near The End." A stunning album, the best of Gilmour also because it was released when Waters was about to leave Pink Floyd to continue as a solo artist. And I don't care about the criticisms. ;) ;) ;)

Among the first albums I ever listened to. It may not be a masterpiece, but there’s truly an abyss between the previous one and this one.

  • hjhhjij

Don't get me wrong. This has some very dignified tracks. Quite cheesy, huh, but dignified and enjoyable. Then of course there are 4-5 embarrassing songs; the one dedicated to Clapton's son is a very noble intent, but I’m sorry to say it’s a bit of a mess.

If '99 is your birth year, in a few years and a few listens you'll see that this album won't compare to "Saucerful of Secrets," not even as a joke :)
  • bonny99

I gave it a 26 because after A Trick of the Tail I still consider it the best of the Collins-era Genesis.
  • bonny99

And then, my dear hjhhjij, it is right that there is a search for style, but sometimes simplicity must also be rewarded.
  • hjhhjij

Of course, but it depends on what kind of simplicity. Anyway, I like the Duke.
  • bonny99
    16 jun 15
I also like it..... of course you're right in saying that Duke historically is worth 1/1000 of Piper, let's remember that Piper came out in 1967, the year of the London psychedelic bloom.
