    Come on, it was a nice little disc. Light, without any big pretensions, but with at least two or three really catchy songs. Maybe the comparison with the Flaming is a bit bold, but as a pop disc for an alternative club, it's not bad at all.

    among other things, he’s a conceited person in an almost gratuitous way: maybe he has some talent, but he should show it, for Christ’s sake. Because neither in Blue Vertigo nor in his singles have I ever found anything that even comes close to art. Sometimes he has a beautiful voice, which unfortunately reminds me of his douchey face, and so that becomes pretty unbearable too. Then there’s someone who goes on TV saying that smoking weed is good, disregarding personal issues (in the sense that maybe he didn’t do it for publicity, always thinking the worst here) is someone that can easily be ignored, he’s absolutely useless to society. Totally useless, seriously.

    I completely agree with what you wrote, except for the bluvertigo issue, but let's not forget that he has always defined himself as a bit of a dandy, and the dandy par excellence is a vain person, and who better than television can bring out this side of a man. I'm not justifying him, it's just the reality of the situation. Anyway, this CD is an excellent one; I’m not even considering the remake of De André's album.
