Van Der Graaf Generator: Godbluff
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
For me, it is part of the triptych of their masterpieces, alongside the two previous ones. In some ways, I even prefer it to Pawn Hearts.

Come on, you can't prefer this to Pawn Hearts... It's like preferring The Division Bell to Wish You Were Here...

It was a "in some ways" that I wanted to imply (rather poorly, in fact) that for me this album is not very far from Pawn Hearts. I don't prefer it.

Pleasant and interesting album, but far from the brilliant chaos of "Pawn Hearts" (perhaps the most beautiful and important prog album ever conceived). Here, instead, it's calmer and with fewer virtuoso displays. (3 stars, which isn't bad)

All things are a part! That final part still manages to be so damn poignant.

And to think that this album comes right after that undefinable work that is Astral Weeks. Van The Man in a state of grace.

A heartfelt album. Perhaps at times it shifts into more easy areas, but it’s always a wonderful feeling.

One of Morrison's best, it comes very close to the fantastic levels of the 67-75 period, although I like him in all decades. Fair rating from you.

Maybe this deserves a 5 as well; for me, it's one of his best. Moreover, when it came out, it had been 5 years since he reached such levels again.

Here it is truly inspired, for me the 4 is a bit tight...

Great album, very inspired. For me, it's in the Top Five of Van The Man.
