I also find it inferior to the debut, but I believe it is underrated. The title track, Cadence And Cascade, and The Devil's Triangle are, in my opinion, successful episodes in the KC discography.

    Come on, not underrated. I've always seen it being given a full 4, if not a 5, so it's definitely something of notable value anyway.

    No, in fact this is not a 5 (for me), but many others are. And, above all, "Discipline" is not a 3, and this is not being lenient; it means having common sense, since it's one of their best. Then, if we want to stop at the big smile, that's fine, everyone is free.

    We need to be objective. Here, 5 is a bit generous. That’s what I said in my first intervention. After the big face, they made some good stuff. I don’t just stop at the big face; I have all of their work, even if nowadays my tastes have changed. I listened to this stuff ages ago.

    I'm a fan of King Crimson but you can't give 5 stars to this album. If there were 6 stars at stake instead of 5, I could understand you, but if you give 5 to this record (for me it's a 4), how do you differentiate it from stuff like In the Court of the Crimson King, Red, Island, Larks' Tongues in Aspic, and Lizard?

    The "Faccione" can be easily identified with "prog" itself. An example to be sent to the farthest reaches of space, as a testament to the "ideal human kingdom" for other forms of civilization, of course!

As soon as I stripped off the plastic covering around the CD packaging, it literally disintegrated in my hands, leaving me with just the disc, the booklet, and countless sharp plastic shards. Putting this annoying inconvenience aside, the disc is an absolutely fantastic experience, both in its more "pop" first part and in the damn avant-garde second part.
