AC/DC: Back In Black
CD Audio I have it ★★
After a few listens, you get tired of it, that's for sure. Good the title track and the opener "Hell's Bells."
AC/DC: Highway To Hell
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
The masterpiece of the group, the album of maturity. Too bad for what will follow.
AC/DC: High Voltage
CD Audio I have it ★★★
Good debut of raw and straightforward rock 'n roll.
Alan Sorrenti: Aria
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Sublime record, with the opening suite that is one of the greatest masterpieces of Italian music and three other tracks also strongly infused with the impressive emotional charge of Alan's voice. Certainly, one cannot deny affinities and inspirations from Buckley’s "Lorca" and Starsailor, but it is nonetheless a work not lacking in originality and class. Paid 2.50 euros.

Some good tracks, overall an acceptable album.

Milestone of punk. "Modern Man" is a milestone in my life.

Everything you write about me is true: the album and the track I prefer by Bad Religion... "Modern man, evolutionary betrayer; Modern man, ecosystem destroyer; Modern man, destroy yourself in shame; Modern man, pathetic example of earth's organic heritage"...
Bad Religion: Stranger Than Fiction
CD Audio I have it ★★★
A passing album, which I didn’t love except for a few great songs. Very "professional."
A little less "mature" than the following one but still splendid: RIP and Il Giardino del Mago are the first masterpieces.
Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso: Darwin!

Masterpiece. The opening suite is spectacular, but for me, the true pinnacle consists of the triptych "Cento mani e cento occhi," "750000 anni fa l'amore," and "Miserere alla storia." Chapeau.

Black Flag: In My Head
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
I wanted it. Or rather, I wanted a Black Flag record. It's dirty and violent, but with interesting jazz-rock hints in Ginn's guitar. I liked it a lot, all in all.
Black Sabbath: Black Sabbath
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
A monument, perfect from start to finish. The title track is a great piece, but NIB, The Wizard, and Warning are no less impressive.
Bob Dylan: Blonde On Blonde
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Best album by Bob Dylan (who has made about 10 more), an incredible masterpiece, epic tracks (A-L-L) and mind-blowing lyrics. In the face of March Horses, Jdv, and Jargon King, one of the masterpieces in the history of rock.

We grew up believing we could change the world while playing and singing Dylan, an experience not everyone has had the chance to live. It might sound rhetorical, but it’s normal that now Dylan is just a pain in the ass for you, because you’re devoid of dreams, but it’s not your fault. We felt in his music the scent of brotherhood and sensed the revolution. Sorry if that's not enough!

Bob Dylan: Highway 61 Revisited
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Discone, although perhaps not his most beautiful. "Desolation Row" is terrifying. The avant-garde will never cease to amaze us, but in popular music during this time, Bob left everyone behind with an embarrassingly easy ease, in terms of innovation.

The musical peak of Dylan in the '60s, obviously without overlooking Bringing and Blonde. In addition to the immortal Like a Rolling Stone, it's worth mentioning Ballad Of A Thin Man and Desolation Row, a fantastic ballad with surreal lyrics. Here, Dylan shifts from the "Hobo" version of his early albums to that of a Rock Star, influenced by the sounds of the Beatles and Stones.
Bob Dylan: Oh Mercy
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
We are in 1989 and, after a few rather lackluster attempts, Bob gives us a single album with Political World, Where Teardrops Fall, Ring Them Bells, The Man in The Long Black Coat, What Good Am I, What Was it You Wanted. Oh, Thank You.

Bob Dylan: Blood On The Tracks

I really don’t know what to say anymore. 2354 stars. Idiot Wind and Lily, Rosemary And The Jack Of Hearts are the pinnacle, but the album also features Buckets Of Rain, Shelter From The Storm, and other gems.

Dylan's "Blood on the Tracks." His best-selling album ever, so beloved by us "Dylanists." At that time, he was separating from his wife Sara; the songs reflect the anguish he was feeling at that moment, with young children, divorce, and issues with Columbia. Great job highlighting "Idiot Wind," a song often overshadowed by maybe "Tangled Up." A masterpiece of the '70s.

I don't know why it has always been denigrated as work, even by Dylan himself. For me, it's one of the best of the '70s with Blood and Desire...
Bob Dylan: Slow Train Coming
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
These trains will arrive slowly, but they sweep everything away. One of Dylan's most controversial albums. Unfortunately, it marks the beginning of a declining phase of inspiration that will last until today, and those filler blues that have now become a classic for him (Gonna Change My Way Of Thinking) start to appear. However, the triptych following his classic "Gotta Serve Somebody"; Precious Angel - I Believe in You - Slow Train guarantees him 5 stars for life.

Well, not so much a waning inspiration, there’s an album like *Time Out of Mind* that is one of his absolute greatest, to be placed alongside albums like *Blonde on Blonde* and *Highway 61 Revisited*.
  • pana

Certainly, he has made great albums even after (not only Time Out, but also Oh Mercy and Infidels). However, I personally can't help but sense a diminishing of the "magic" in his classics.
Bob Dylan: Desire
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Finally, I have it too. For me, along with Blonde On Blonde, it represents the very top tier of Dylan's discography in terms of quality. One could write an essay for each track; I'll just say that songs like Joey, One More Cup Of Coffee, Hurricane, and Sara are among my absolute favorites.
Bob Dylan: The Times They Are A-Changin'
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Perhaps the best album by Bob Dylan before the electric turn; the lyrics are biting and the masterpieces are countless: Title Track, With God On Our Side, Only A Pawn In Their Game, Restless Farewell dominate, but in none of the 10 tracks is there anything that doesn't make it special. A masterpiece.

This is the album that made me discover music in general. I will always thank a friend of mine who, when we were 13, showed up with a little cassette of this album, love at first listen. A "fierce" record, sharp and effective lyrics, stripped-down sounds but with great harmonica. Definitely the best album before the '65/'66 trilogy, it highlights the "protest Dylan," "With God..." a great track, but really all of them. Well done!

Bob Dylan: John Wesley Harding

Less overwhelming than the previous one (could it be otherwise?) But, if the subsequent albums are to be forgotten, this remains a beautiful country album.
  • Mr Funk

Not at the level of the previous three, but still a seminal album. Released at the end of '67, alongside the contemporaneous Basament Tapes, it effectively marked the beginning of the long season of country-rock (soon Big Pink and Sweetheart of the Rodeo would be released). Furthermore, it was in sharp contrast to the musical context of those years, characterized by psychedelia and acid. But good old Bob had already made his mark in that regard.
Bob Dylan: Another Side Of Bob Dylan

It would be enough that "Chimes Of Freedom" guarantees this album the highest ratings, which naturally offers much more, in the wonderful style of the sparse yet - or perhaps because of this? - intensely moving ballad of early Dylan. I love you.

The fourth album in 2 years, beautiful songs, sparse if we want but deep. "It ain't me baby" is historic!
Bob Dylan: Modern Times
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
There are a few missteps, especially in the odd-numbered tracks, but after 40 years of activity, Bob still delivers four masterpieces: When The Deal Goes Down, Workingman Blues, Nettie More, and Ain't Talkin'. Great album.

In my view, the singing, shared among the group members, is not exceptional but neither is it poor... to fully please me, it should perhaps be a bit rougher.
