One day in 1984, my uncle Alfredo, getting into a quarrel with his wife, knocked over a stack of freshly dried and arranged pots. The clatter and the shouts that followed (which I sadly did not have the presence of mind to record) anticipated by two years the innovations introduced by this album. Epoch-making yet derivative.

Actually, they had made others before, so it’s your uncle who is being derivative :D Anyway, with this, I’m a fan-boy, and I will never forgive you for the 2, just so you know.

My uncle definitely didn't realize he was copying; you can't blame him like that! :) But there must have been someone before 1980, or thereabouts, who dropped the pots, right? Maybe Mastrota was even a forerunner of the Einst... Ainsterz... in short, those guys!

Cptgaio says that "Trout Mask Replica" is a haphazardly played album and then appreciates Einstürzende; you consider TMR a masterpiece but say that this album is made with random noises. I say, Solomon-like, that you are the ones commenting at random.

No, I don't consider Trout a masterpiece... and when I said that, body of a thousand whales?? Last week I reviewed SGT. Peppers hiding it inside The Mascara's snake... fast'n' boulbus! For me, Trout is a 4-star album because I quite like it... but this one I don’t like at all! :P With affection for everyone, I propose a big ecumenical hug, in the style of John Paul II.
