Peter Hammill was called the Jimi Hendrix of the voice, while Dave Jackson was referred to as the Van Gogh of the sax. Excellent music... masterful. But come on, I’ll adjust my aim and give the highest marks.

    Better :) I love to nitpick about this album; after all, it's one of my all-time favorites. Wasn't it Buckley who was described more or less that way ("he did with his voice what Hendrix did with the electric guitar")? Details, Hammill is up there in Olympus right next to Tim.

    Lee Underwood (Buckley's guitarist) said that Buckley did with his voice what Hendrix did with the electric guitar; the same thing Robert Fripp (who collaborated numerous times with Hammill) says about Hammill...

A lot of inspiration, although in my opinion, PAWN HEARTS is better... After quite some time, I listened to them again just yesterday.

    Well, yes, Pawn Hearts is better, if we want to include H to He, but at these levels "better" practically doesn't exist. At least for me, at least with them :)

    Alright, he gave a 4 to a bunch of albums, that's his grading method. The score is just a little game; what's important is that he enjoys it. Oh, you forgot "White Hammer," you can't forget that one, Syd.
