After the excellent album of the previous year, this artistic and commercial flop. "Modena" raises the bar but out of 8 tracks, it's probably the only one that truly deserves it; the rest is really insufficient, especially Kriminal, which foreshadows all the silly songs to come in the years ahead.

Artistic flop maybe, but commercial flop certainly not: it sold a lot when both the album in question and the single "Buona domenica" were released. Besides the wonderful "Modena," I'm also very fond of "Stai con me" and "Donna in bottiglia." I wouldn't throw the title track away either, even though it undoubtedly marked the beginning of Venditti's very clever trend. Anyway, I find the subsequent one, "Sotto la pioggia," much more beautiful than this one.
