The most immediate and accessible camel. A very pleasing album, with a slight drift towards pop.

The Camel navigated the transition between the '70s and '80s with great class: influenced by the trends of the moment but at the same time consistent with their vision of music.

Beautiful, but which CD version do you have? Because I saw on Discogs that they didn't release any versions of this album from 2002.

Considered one of the worst works of Camel. I don't mind the elegant and refined blend of pop-progressive that will characterize the band from here on out, now just Latimer.

For now, it's the only album I have by the captain. From what I can tell, it's probably not the best, but it still seems pretty good!!

It is. But if you want the best of his best, in my opinion, you should dive into "Safe as Milk," "Strictly Personal," and "Lick My Decals Off, Baby."

And Mirror Man, but also the latest stuff, so much of that manna... I tell you: listen to everything you can (or cannot) before and enjoy it more.

For God's sake, don't forget Shiny Beast and Doc at the Radar Station, the last gasps of the Captain.

Be careful with the Trout, chew it slowly and digest it accordingly.

My favorite remains Safe as Milk, where a young Ry Cooder also plays. As for the rest, I like it, but be careful of the trout's bones that get stuck in your throat; eat it in small bites.

Enormous. As a writer in the '60s and as a singer-songwriter in the '70s. Aside from the debut, a miraculous peak that is unreachable in its beauty, I even find her subsequent albums underrated among those I've listened to.

As for her, maybe not by herself, any enthusiast, even slightly, of singer-songwriter music and/or soul/r&b/pop authors would recognize her among the top players. However, when it comes to her as a songwriter, only her debut is ever mentioned, which is a shame.

Here. I don't envy you at all; I was somewhat curious about the Carpenters, but listening to this album PURCHASED a few decades ago has erased any remnants of that curiosity, American stuff.
