Tommy's acid queen dedicates a side of covers to English rock. The second side features the latest tracks with Ike. Her voice at its peak!

You know that despite the great expectations, I still haven't dedicated the time and listening Todd Rundgren deserves? There’s just too much stuff, ugh.

Really? It seems to me that they did much worse. The coordinates are obviously more pop and there’s a nice sequence of "forgettable" songs (in the sense that if you're lucky, you’ll forget them right away) but there are also some valid tracks here. Then there's "Water out of Wine," which I've always liked a lot, one of their (few) truly beautiful solo-written pieces.

The fugitive for example?.....true, although I still find it occasionally irritating...I even wrote a review on this. From '95 onwards, I admit I don't know anything and I'm also not very curious.

"The Fugitive," yes, an album of embarrassing scarcity. "Still" is a bit like "We Can't Dance": it has some annoying things and others that I think are good. Look, since 2004 he has started making classical albums, piano and orchestra. It's not exactly Mozart, though...

Tony Banks: A Curious Feeling
Vinile I have it ★★★
a bit of Wind, so much And then & Duke....the latest prog bullets, probably leftovers from the Genesis production.

No. They are not discarded material from the Genesis production (just like those from Rutherford in "Smallcreep's Day," who actually used scraps from those sessions for "Duke," see the riff of "Turn it on Again"). It's simply that with Collins busy with his divorce, Genesis took a break, and Banks and Rutherford took the opportunity to record solo material they had been thinking about for years, no scraps, just things that Banks composed on his own over the years. Just think that "Mad Man Moon" is a piece entirely composed by Banks, which he initially considered for a potential solo debut back then (in the immediate wake of Hackett), but fortunately, it ended up on "A Trick of the Tail." Then, well, this is also a decent album (even "Still" is divided between beautiful songs and improbable junk), but there's not much to do about the generally poor quality of Totonno's career... An unsolved mystery and a great shame for those who love his compositions with Genesis.

You’ll surely be right. Poor Tony has really done very little after this.
