Earth: Earth 2: Special Low Frequency Version
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
The perfect soundtrack of a slow agony from overdose where everything gradually becomes slower and heavier (the first two tracks) until the total cessation of all vital functions (the last exhausting half-hour OM, where nothing moves anymore). This album could last even 20 years, once you reach the last track. I might be crazy, but I love it. Long before this sound became "cult."

One of the most beautiful works to come out in the '90s. Heartbreaking. Absolutely not to be listened to when you're already feeling down, otherwise you really risk suicide. One of the saddest records I've ever listened to.

I always listen to it when I'm sad! In my opinion, it's really great!

Beautiful indeed. Rather, it's a sadness that almost comforts you...

The beautiful thing is that he sings sad things, but while he does it, he’s so detached it’s frightening! And he talks about his dead mom, oh, not the cat!

Well, but they're all dead: the mother, the father, the sister... in fact, I don't listen to him often, I'm afraid he brings bad luck.

This is mother/sister. There are a couple of pieces that, from what I've heard, are nothing more than the precise transcription of the pages of the diary of the deceased sister who committed suicide. Chilling, in fact, I still haven't had the courage to listen to it.

I had a period when I listened to it almost every day, a couple of summers ago, I overindulged and now I haven't listened to it in a while. I more often put on Beautiful Freak, to say...

I’m just consuming it these days, as you can partly see here Profilo musicale di Allen_Ginsberg – Utenti di Last.fm Anyway, Daisies is no less, neither for beauty nor for despair - in fact, Mr. E enjoyed writing the saddest pieces in major chords. Ah, the new one is really nice, recommended.

Korrea, "Daisies" was a bit more "cheerful" than usual :) (in a thousand quotes, eh, Eels and happiness are two words that don't go well together)... ps has the new one already been released?

I miss this album by the Germans; I remember their concert that I saw in Cascina, in the province of Pisa, in 1993 for the Tabula Rasa tour. A volume that rendered my auditory system non-functional for several days: never again have I had this feeling of having to "abandon" the venue. But I managed to hold on, despite everything!!! Blixa is an important character, I would say.

beautiful, and by the way I bought it only a few years ago. the first was halber mensch in '98. unfortunately after tabula rasa I don't hear much, but works like this or even fuenf auf der nach oben offenen richterscala are a nice kick in the teeth! kollaps too far, too hard, I never really managed to love it. ps: on my right bicep I have their logo tattooed, as proof of how much I love this group

I continued to adore them even after the passing of N.U. Unrhu (did I spell that right? Who knows!) and Silence is Sexy I loved beyond imagination. I miss this, but sooner or later I'll buy them all...

N.U. Unrhu is still around, he just goes by the name Andrew Chudy now. Mark Chung and F.M. Einheit were the ones who left.
  • ZannaB

Shit, I confused him with F.M. Einheit! These fucking unpronounceable names! Couldn't they just be called Franz, Markus, and Claus???

"Drawings of the patient O.T." is perhaps the coolest of the E.N. And they've made a lot of cool records. Infernal and incredibly loud, a marvel.

Maybe it's my absolute favorite of theirs, this one... I highly recommend it to you, dear de marga!

A great job. Then the stagnation of this sound made me allergic to this band and others, all so similar to each other, but this one was still very valid. Chapa..
In past geological eras, it was one of those records returned to the used store in less than 24 hours. With all due respect. When I still bought CDs for the cover. I hadn't connected the band's name to More Than Words; otherwise, I would probably have opted for a best of Peppino Di Capri to give to my parents.

But damn... even the covers of the Extreme sucked :D Anyway, they gave me Pornograffiti and I think I still have it.

I struggle to associate Extreme and Silaslang, not even in the context of a joke do the two terms sound well together.

Apart from the bravado of Cupid's Dead (I had to do it, I was studying, alas...), I could never stand them. If we're talking about tacky, I'd rather have a good laugh with the Twisted Sister.

Ahahahahahah. I was still a work in progress at that time, evidently ahahah. After all, you’re right, covers of terrible taste, a good legacy of late '80s Metal Lacca. I was tricked by the cover of this one that, as much as it was aesthetically unpleasing, tried to be less cheesy, at least in their minds. These guys contributed to only one cause, not artistic, but to the expansion of the ozone hole. More Than Words...brrr. Well, to each their own. Pietas.
  • Great album. Dry, much less commercial than the previous ones, Nuno is a wonderful musician with an exhilarating rhythmic mastery. The sound landscape is minimalist; you can hear everything because there are very few instruments. It's a somewhat forgettable but extremely enjoyable album. The funk-tinged rock of the Extreme is here in its most sincere and least contrived version. In fact, it was not successful. What has never convinced me is the singer Cherone, gritty and determined but without great talents. And there's no trace of things like "More Than Words," which is indeed quite annoying not for itself (a one-off, after all) but for the excessive success and the branding that has stamped their entire music, clouding even the minds of some who can't help but mention it inappropriately to flatten their whole career.
