Elliott Smith

Elliott Smith donjunio

"That loser was named Elliott Smith, and he was the most gifted songwriter of the last 20 years."

"The opening 'Needle in the Hay' leaves no doubt about it. Forged with the urgency typical of Nirvana, it is the unsettling chronicle of an ordinary day as a drug addict."

Dive into Elliott Smith's haunting acoustic world and experience a timeless masterpiece of raw emotion and lyrical depth.

You and Elliott Smith

Elliott Smith

Elliott Smith (1969–2003) was an American singer-songwriter known for intimate, guitar-driven songs and a style often compared to Nick Drake. He gained wider attention after “Miss Misery,” written for Good Will Hunting, received an Academy Award nomination. His catalog spans lo-fi acoustic recordings and later, more elaborate arrangements; a major posthumous release is From a Basement on the Hill.
