    Hey bro, everything good? You've basically written my podium; I might place Fucked Up a bit lower and give Thurston Moore the silver medal, but we're close. New Brigade is already legendary.

    Everything's fine, except for the imminent additional points of penalties. Thurston's solo effort is undoubtedly his best, but it's not top 10 material. It's a sort of forced "Sea Change," better to check out Kurt Vile in the singer-songwriter realm (who, by the way, opens his concerts), as he's more "new." Another strongly recommended act is Civil Civic, brainy post-punk that you can dance to: this track is a BANGER.
