    I removed them. In the ranking, besides names that I frankly can't stand, I had included artists whose excessive fandom bothers me a bit. I had included VDGG for this reason.

    I understand. Well, actually here on Debasio they are very much loved, and they are my favorite band, so yes, I am quite fanatic about them, but please bear with me, a little love for a band is necessary, right? :) As for the rest, it doesn't seem to me that, outside of here, there is excessive fanaticism for VDGG.

    As for the others, I can only respect your tastes; in fact, I understand some choices, others are Necessary (Madonna and Dream Theater). I understand some well because I don't like them either (Aerosmith, Kiss aside from a little, Muse). I couldn’t care less about others (Scorpions, Jackson, although these don’t totally make me cringe; well, Jackson does, except for "Of the Wall" and "Thriller," which are truly monstrous).

    I only disagree on Zeppelin in practice (but again, it happens to have great bands that just don’t click). Oh, I disagree on others too, but tastes are tastes. I also like E.L.P. but they've never been among my favorites. I like Dire Straits too, but I don’t get "offended" if others think they’re terrible, same goes for Queen (I really like those from the '70s but I've never had trouble understanding those who can't stand them, and I also get any potential hatred towards the band’s fans) or Uriah Heep. I like them, but I have no trouble saying "okay, fine, you think they suck, who cares" :)

    "the worst of the worst. the triumph of bad taste!" They were horrifically kitsch, a melting pot of stuff that I understand can be cringe-inducing. But I like them a lot. Oh, up to '76, then I like them less, and after that, they really suck.
