As much as I appreciate Daniel, he's not the greatest of all time. Still, a really great singer!!

  • They then find a singer with a vocal range superior to his.

  • Very good, of course, but Daniel is simply in a "different league. He is the best rock singer that has ever existed; aside from his range, his voice possesses a warmth and expressiveness that is truly extraordinary. If the song Scarsick, for example, had been recorded by Patton, whom I adore, by the way, many would have cried out miracle, yet it was recorded by Gildenlöw and went unnoticed. This clearly demonstrates the blindness of many listeners, for whom the label is more important than the product.

Alright, I won’t insist... Also because I too revere Daniel and consider him one of the best (if not the best) singers of his generation. Anyway, I find it incredible how two fans of the same band, like we are of PoS, can have such different ideas even regarding PoS themselves. The world is beautiful because it is varied... XD
    • For me, they were a true revelation, and keep in mind that I saw them in concert without knowing a single song.

Sorry, but who are you referring to? Maybe Gildenlow. Have you seen him live? I assume not, otherwise you'd take back that unprecedented nonsense... Think a little more before you open your mouth and waste your breath, come on...

that's just how I see it
now, it’s not that just because you’ve been struck by lightning in person then...

Ah, because Bono sings badly... but have you heard that voice of his? Low, high, warm, powerful. He has the range, the technique, everything you want, but it’s all within a range of mediocrity.

Gildenlow's voice is objectively on another planet, and that's a fact, but you discerned charisma and mentioned Bonovox, whose supposed charisma might impress you if you're not yet thirteen years old.

Ultimately, 'that's just how I feel and that's it' always seems to me a valid argument...

Are you talking about the singer from Pain of Salvation? It might be a matter of taste, but I personally think his tone is completely awful.

Those I know are all Metal singers. As a ranking of Metal singers, it's more than good.
