    They say Geek is the pinnacle. Maybe, but if someone preferred other albums I wouldn't be surprised. They're all fabulous up to 2003; in the last decade, they're "only" nice. Wherever you fish, you don't find good, you find excellent.

    I love all of his discography. Of course, Geek is the pinnacle, but it competes with Happiness!

    It's basically like randomly gallivanting through the discography of King Crimson. Everything is either good or great.

    She is not only an exceptional singer-songwriter (particular, innovative, modern, and sometimes complex), but also a great musician and multi-instrumentalist, one of those very complete authors and artists (plus she has a beautiful voice, which is a bonus, I would say). Before making her solo debut, she played the violin in the late '80s on a John Mellencamp album (an American songwriter, great himself), and even after her debut as a singer-songwriter, she continued to play and collaborate on other projects with different musicians (Calexico, Eels, just to name a few). Immense, complete, total. From every point of view. The greatest daughter of "modern" female singer-songwriter tradition, pushed by the Kate Bushian influence.
