E' stata dura compilarla. L'ho rimaneggiata più volte.
Post-punk? Ai posteri l'ardua sentenza.

It was tough to compile it. I had to omit some titles (still very valid). Some might wonder if the Flipper can be considered post-punk. I think so.

Well, very essential for sure. I don't know the flippers, but I will keep them in mind. I'm surprised by the CCCP; in fact, in my thirty years of listening to that album, I had never thought of it in a post-punk perspective. It makes sense, but wasn't the Orthodoxia EP more functional? That one had all the post-grittiness, even more than Affinità e Divergenze.

Perhaps you're right. However, honestly, I don't feel like labeling "Affinità e Divergenze..." as just a simple punk album.

Anyway, I got the Flipper album (on Amazon). It's really a great record. Thanks for the tip!

Of course! It's a duty to spread good music :-D A user named Mr.Moustache recommended it to me (I wonder what happened to him).

However, if you make a list of 11 titles, I think you can add a few more. I'm a bit confused, but there are hundreds of post-punk artists. What do you think of James Chance (maybe no wave) but especially of Public Image? The latter group seems 100% post-punk to me. Or maybe I have a wrong idea of what you mean by post-punk?

Of James Chance, I only know the tracks on "No New York." Not bad, but too few to provide a comprehensive judgment. As for PIL... you read my mind! Now I'm adding "Second Edition" (not that the debut is bad)!!

I like the ranking and I like even more the presence of the Josef K, but the Pop Group should be in the ranking. Right?

Sooner or later, the Pop Group will arrive too.

I should get to know them better. By the way: which album should I start with?

So much beautiful stuff, but we need another 100.

Gang of Four, Magazine, Tuxedomoon, Television, Siouxie, Jam, Wire, Ultravox, Devo, Simple Minds, Mission, Fall...

Aside from Siouxsie and Mission, I tend to prefer the darker and more twilight wave and post-punk.

Indeed... I've seen a couple that are very dark and twilight-like... :))

It is also evident from the choice of the Cure's album.
