I've never really understood what indie is, but I really like the albums, not necessarily in this order, but I like them.

Honestly, neither do I... ahaha! Let's say, the albums from the noise rock / math rock / post hc / post rock / noise pop genres released under independent labels. I chose "indie" because I don't even really know how to categorize all these labels. As for the order, let's say it goes from 5 to 4.5 to 4 in rating...

I am a poor ignoramus who knows far too few records from this list. There are people I’m hearing about for the first time now. Congratulations, though.

Thank you! I think I only included U.S. records. A lot from North Carolina, quite a bit from Kentucky, there's Dischord, a little from Chicago, a little from Boston, a little from New York, a bit of Sub Pop... whatever.

I may have gone a bit overboard with the Fugazi by including much of their discography, considering them to be quite well-known and using them as a benchmark for other, less familiar albums. Yes, it's not exactly a serious ranking, but it could serve as a small input.

Well, it seems right to include more Fugazi albums anyway. And at least I know those well too :)

Very cool. For Polvo, I would have included Exploded Drawing... and more albums from Jesus Lizard and Unsane. Anyway, beautiful stuff! I'll note down 2 or 3 things.

In fact, I'd go for it, an amazing album even though my favorite of theirs is Today's. I had a bit of doubt because the first ones were released by Merge and Exploded by Touch and Go; for a moment I thought they had rapidly jumped to a major label, but instead no. But yeah, as if there were; the same goes for JL and Unsane... more than anything, it's just a bit of a hassle to include more! ahaha
