Oh, but Eraserhead is there, or at least it should be.

Beautiful, I would add a couple of Kubrick films: "Shining," "Dr. Strangelove," Allen's "Match Point," and a couple from Altman. There are a couple of titles I don't agree with, for example: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but those are your tastes. Overall, I like it.

I just now noticed that it’s a ranking from the seventies, so "Match Point" is out of place.

Very beautiful with super titles, I would add, in no particular order, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," "The Mattei Affair," "Three Days of the Condor," "Network," "Little Big Man," "Marathon Man," "M*A*S*H," "All the President's Men," "Monty Python's Life of Brian," "Last Tango in Paris," "The Duellists," "The Long Goodbye," "They Call Me Trinity," "Novecento."

A decade of absolute abundance in all genres; just for the '70s on IMDB I have a watchlist of 353 titles. Excellent choices as well, those you've mentioned.

Well, maybe I haven't seen them, but just off the top of my head, Zabriskie Point and Professione Reporter by Antonioni seem to be missing, or maybe you don't like the director...

A stunning lack of Dersu Uzala by Kurosawa that goes very high.
