Marco Bellocchio

Marco Bellocchio (born 1939, Bobbio, Italy) is an Italian film director and screenwriter. He debuted with I pugni in tasca (1965) and is known for politically charged and psychologically incisive cinema, including Il traditore (2019), Esterno notte (2022), and Rapito (2023).
