Hey... almost like mine :) Thanks, you reminded me that the new Melvins has come out. I’m adding the reissue of the legendary Feedtime albums, which is a must-have.

Your extreme credibility and undeniable affinity drive me to approach the Feedtime that (alas, ignorant as I am) I do not know.

Beautiful, many valid names that I fully agree with except for Freak Puke, which, in the end, has somewhat disappointed me.

Thanks Decline. I believe I would include the Melvins even in the presence of a compilation of burps and farts ;D

I don't know, the Neurosis one really disappointed me, a flat album with no ideas. Or maybe the genre is just too overinflated by now. For the Melvins, I agree with Algol. :)

You're not entirely wrong, Alfredo, I might lower it a notch or two. It doesn't add anything to their discography, but it's a Neurosis album proudly heralding all of their best aesthetics. It also represents a clear rebound compared to the last dreadful "Given To The Rising."

Yes, even "Given to the Rising" didn't seem that great to me, or rather at first I liked it too, but it definitely didn't hold up to repeated listens. There must be a reason why I'm still putting on "A sun that never sets," "Enemy of the sun," and "Through silven in blood," while Given is just gathering dust. Anyway, I need to revisit Honor; I've listened to it relatively little to give a definite judgment. You never know, maybe the spark will ignite and change my mind; after all, we're not talking about Modà here..:D

I listened to Honor again this morning, like for the 25th time in 25 days, and I have to say it drives me crazy. Promoted and highly promoted, and I know it will give its best in the next three months and beyond.

Eh ... sometimes it takes the time it would take for an anaconda to digest an ox to assimilate them. "Through Silver" is my favorite and indeed it only became so after months. You are perfectly right, Neurosis is the least suitable band to give an immediate opinion about, they need to be ruminated.
