  I would say that the Pistols were great too, even though and in a way because of Sid Vicious! They were and still are an amazing band! But it really hurts me to see the X at the bottom of the list...

  I’ll tell you, the Sex Pistols, while historically important, are not among my favorites. As for the X, you’re right, I’m bumping them up in my rankings; they’re definitely in the top of the punk ’77 list, no doubt about it.
