DMZ are an American garage-punk band formed in Boston in 1976, led by singer/keyboardist Jeff Conolly (“Monoman”). They released a self-titled LP on Sire in 1978 (produced by Flo & Eddie) and recorded rawer studio/live material for Bomp! later compiled as When I Get Off. Conolly later formed the Lyres.
