  Well, people like Spielberg, Fulci, and Verdone do not deserve to be in the same league as Vanzina, Parenti, and similar riffraff.

  Okay, Spielberg is a self-sabotager with a degree with honors, but up there?? Verdone too, he doesn't deserve it... And then, personally, I believe that Mel Gibson should be among the best, certainly not among the worst.

  I paradoxically see a Fulci at the bottom ranks as a good thing; I believe it's indirectly a source of pride for him, considering he was a "deliberately" trash director.

  Spielberg is among the most overrated, not among the absolute worst. I would include Jerry Calà, Stallone, Marina de Van (author of that masterpiece with Bellucci-Marceau).
