I understand the general hatred towards them, but the Sex Pistols definitely deserved a mention!!! I would’ve included the (great) Pixies too!

Quite an accurate ranking; it's missing a few big names and some positions should be shifted, but everyone is represented. Regarding the Offspring, you should have specified that the position is for the first four albums. For Sum 41, you totally missed the mark (yes, you should be paired with:) but an error is understandable. Nirvana, yes, they're grunge, but among grunge bands, they're the closest to punk, so they belong here too.
P.S. A few names that are missing: Black Flag, Minor Threat, Stiff Little Fingers, The Exploited, Sick Of It All, Husker Du, Operation Ivy.

Dammit, I wanted to include Minor Threat and Black Flag; I forgot.

Oh, by the way, it's not done "in ranking," that is, they're not in order (if I put the Sum above the Pogues, I'm not saying that the first are better than the second).

A punk rock ranking without the Sex Pistols... Mmm... But there are the Sum and the Offspring, they really rock... Ahaha

a ranking a bit too focused on the more well-known groups, missing too many "minor" bands (that is, less known) but essential (dead boys, adverts, avengers, buzzcocks, germs, Crime, etc.). I won't comment on the '90s list since I have different tastes (rip offs, new bomb turks, teengenerate, stitches, etc.). If you include Nirvana as a punk band, you can't overlook Mudhoney.
