    Beautifully balanced across all genres. However, a ranking of 1000 albums for the '70s should be done, given the importance and variety of music that was born and grew during the decade.

      Completely agree about the superlative years, although unlike other decades where I missed out on so many albums, this time it's less so for a simple reason: I know very little about the seventies and all the important names (a few gems), and putting just one album per artist helps a lot. I just need to take a moment to listen to your picks and those of others to confirm how little I know about the sixties and seventies. Thank you for the input, Hellraiser.

      I mess up in the 80s but I've learned a lot in here. For example, Pasley, which I've now explored and adore ;^))

      It's the same for me. You and Luludia have introduced me to so many absolute-level things over these two decades. With the year '68, if I had to rank the sixties, that would be more than enough for a top 200.

      My impression, and then I do some self-criticism, I realize if I can create a connection with someone, and with her I couldn't do it like I did with others, that's all. Let's pretend nothing happened, I apologize if I have been misunderstood; I blamed myself for not being able to achieve it. I have a lot of respect for her, and that's why I wrote this; it was not an accusation at all, quite the opposite.
