John Barleycorn Must Die Grasshopper

Traffic transformed the folk song 'John Barleycorn (Must Die)' into one of the most inspired acoustic ballads ever, with a delicate weave of guitars and fairy-tale flute.

The 'Traffic sound' is so original that it deserves a specific name, blending soul-jazz with refined baroque instrumentation, anticipating the jazz revival of the '80s by at least a decade.

Dive into Traffic’s classic album John Barleycorn Must Die and experience a timeless blend of folk, jazz, and progressive rock!
