D.R.I. (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles) are an American crossover thrash and hardcore punk band formed in Houston, Texas, in 1982. Anchored by vocalist Kurt Brecht and guitarist Spike Cassidy, they helped define crossover thrash with a relentless mix of hardcore speed and thrash metal riffing. Seminal releases include Dirty Rotten LP (1983), Dealing With It (1985), Crossover (1987), 4 of a Kind (1988) and Thrash Zone (1989). The band has remained active with tours and later releases, including the EP But Wait... There’s More! (2016).
