Emerging novelty of the Tuscan Metal scene, Discordia seriously and passionately rework a genre that few are currently playing worthily.
This is an experimental yet accessible proposal, with powerful choruses, melodic grit, straightforward arrangements, and lyrics in Italian (a commendable show of bravery). In this debut demo "Nubi di passaggio," various sonic directions can be sensed, among which the quintet is forging its own recognizable identity. The title track starts reflectively, with a captivating melodic singing that struggles to remain confined to a single genre: traces of heavy and classic/modern taste, a powerful chorus, decent structure, and a guitar solo that delivers great emotions. The second track, "Ghiaccio psichico," is the least memorable of the entire work; it is decidedly less straightforward and more daring in terms of the vocal parts. However, the excellent dark-tinged introduction with a slight theatrical touch gives it great charm, as do the breathtaking rhythmic sections of the verse interrupted by a lyrically exuberant impactful chorus.
The demo then closes with an unusual track: "Tentazione". It's a metal-rock piece that effortlessly evokes the past and modernity, evolving into astonishing Progressive sections in the middle, undoubtedly rich in excellent musicality.

One of the most difficult promos to categorize in the entire underground history.
An updated and driving rock, which starts melodic, almost delicate, surely elegant, then bursts into a heavy priest-like earthquake.
