Green Day -American Idiot
Often underestimated for what they produced both before and after, American Idiot is instead a great album, featuring beautiful tracks, 2 "suites" of about ten minutes each perfectly constructed, and the tension that remains high from start to finish. It's a shame they neither maintained these levels nor attempted further evolution, which had instead occurred here with excellent results. more
Guided by Voices -Propeller
Shit-Fi noise pop (?!?...whatever..) straight out of the ass hole. Gem. more
Osanna -Palepoli
The best album by the group. On par with foreign albums of the same period and genre. We (the Italians) should be proud to have produced such masterpieces. Oro caldo is an absurd masterpiece for my taste. more
Wet Willie -The Wetter The Better
Great Southern album with hints of soul, one of the leading bands in Southern rock, perhaps not as sharp as the Skynyrds or as bluesy as the Allman Brothers, but skilled musicians. Beautiful cover, nice popsicle... more
The Deviants -Ptooff!
In '67, no one noticed them, an underground English band that disappeared after a few years, yet their debut is incendiary, garage rock that influenced the punk generation of the following decade. Mediocre musicians who knew how to "light a fuse," energetic and fully charged tracks... more
The Black Crowes -The Southern Harmony And Musical Companion
Beautiful album of Southern rock blues, very tight, sharp guitars and great Southern "flavor," perhaps the best ever from the Atlanta band. Great job... more
Debaser
The exchange has broken my balls. more
Pink Floyd
I am the imagination, the real one and in all directions. They have always tried. Stumbling even over themselves and falling apart. There will never be a bigger group; they gave a lot and innovated even more. Their visionary rock is an immovable monolith. more

Down
A phenomenal project born from the crazy minds of musicians already known for their work in Pantera, Corrosion of Conformity, and Crowbar. New Orleans is their homeland; Heavy Southern Blues immersed in the swampy depths of the Mississippi... NOLA... more
Deftones -White pony
I have little, very little to say about the masterpiece by Deftones: one of the albums I have appreciated the most in recent years; the courage to change, to evolve, to go beyond, to surpass oneself. Chino Moreno's band, still featuring the unmistakable Chi Cheng on bass, adds a dark, dramatic, new-wave-psychedelic depth; like in the song "Knife Party" with a guitar sound and a breathtaking, wordless ending... Majestic and imposing... more
Billy Idol -Rebel Yell
Commercial but not ugly... more

The Stranglers -Rattus Norvegicus
