An innocent album, with colorful and tender hues; almost poetic. De Gregori already expresses his hermetic lyricism that will become more prominent in the subsequent albums with "Signora Aquilone," while Venditti condenses his popular romanticism in 3-4 gems including "Sora Rosa," a poem about adolescent restlessness, in my opinion his most beautiful piece and the only one that can truly deserve this title (I prefer it here more than in his solo albums, "Lilly" excluded). more

Beautiful and poignant epitaph, filled with drama and much melancholy. Title track, "Don't Try so Hard", "These are the Days of our Lives", "Bijou" and "The Show Must Go On" encompass the best vocal performances ever by Freddie Mercury. An album that marks a recovery from the forgettable glories of the eighties, in my opinion the only one that can be compared to the albums of the '70s. Full 8. more
