THE KING! (1925-2015). more
A band I stumbled upon about ten years ago when they played in a small venue near my home; a trio completely immersed in the seventies, with a heavily fuzzed-out psychedelic sound that's absolutely mind-bending (after all, the album cover features mushrooms). Just mentioning the nearly ten minutes of "Black Maria" is enough: like slow Black Sabbath going wild and meeting deranged Monster Magnet fans, with stoner blasts where the imposing shadow of the masters Kyuss appears...SATURNALIA... more

Incredible album, halfway between the era of Syd and Waters, a completely experimental record that gives an truly indescribable feeling on the first listen, majestic and above all emotional and astonishing. A monument of psychedelic music. MASTERPIECE. These are the true Pink with a sound that slightly recalls King Crimson in some parts. 5 Stars, an absolute must-have, a real gem. more
Simply a genius. He manages to make people laugh without even saying a word. more
I slightly prefer "Are You Experienced," but this album by the Experience is probably the best and the most complete... The last two tracks (no need to mention the titles) are applause-worthy. more
It’s funnier than his imitation, but it’s extremely more dangerous. more
Some time ago, there was a discussion about who, at the tender age, had released an album that truly stood out. Ladies and gentlemen... here he is! Michele Zarrillo, 16 years old! CHAPEAU! more
Well, carefree, irresistible, over the top, unbridled (the various "Baby Boomerang," "Rock On," "Telegram Sam," "Thunderwing," "Cadillac," "Chariot Choogie," "Rabbit Fighter) and then there are those moments... Those of the title track, those of "Mystic Lady," those of the devastating melody of "Spaceball Ricochet," and those of an eternal song like "Ballroom of Mars," a piece I can't describe... The atmosphere, Bolan's voice, his interpretation... Beautiful disco. more
Great! Mr. Bean and BlackAdder are among the best comedy series I have seen. The first Johnny English isn't bad either. more
Auerbach has a great voice; the beautiful blues number "Next Girl" had me fooled. The rest of the album is enjoyable, but it doesn't have much to do with that track. more
Unforgettable voice. Fantastic woman: of a sensuality that, for me, is truly hard to surpass. more
Third grandiloquent chapter of the Queen that I prefer by far. A fantastic and flawless record, although much less "progressive-fantasy" and more Hard-Rock than the two previous ones. Magnificent, nonetheless. "Lily of the Valley." 8.5-9. more
Coming soon on Debaser! more
Five stars just for having played, at a very young age, on the "Human" album by Death; and he is the leader of Cynic where he created a sound that, starting from Technical Death Metal, has then transformed into a Progressive-Fusion entity directed towards infinite space... TRACED IN AIR... more
More methodical and "mystical" than his predecessors. Among the tracks, the lively "Passacaglia," the only carefree piece that almost takes us back to the goliardic spirit of Franco made in the '80s; "Quand'ero giovane," a pompous mid-tempo adorned with aging memories, and the opener "Un irresistibile richiamo," which showcases the usual abstract lyricism typical of the Sicilian artist. more
Invaluable. Yet damnably fascinating. more
