I don't even mind her pensive streak; it's a bit dazed. "Vita tranquilla" is a little gem. more
It's even more painful to talk about the debut of Joy Division a day before the fateful date of May 18th; those who know the band are well aware of the dramatic episode to which I am referring. It's the narcotic, cryptic voice of Ian that draws the listener into a record where music and words tell a story of discomfort and alienation; a chilling album that ends with the long, slow, and sorrowful litany of "I Remember Nothing." Nothing and no one has come close to their spectral sound...INTERZONE... more
One of the nicest and most talented actors! "Raging Bull," "Goodfellas," "Home Alone"... I wish I had a friend like him! more
Having left Mayall's band (Crusade period), the great English drummer passionate about Native Americans forms his own band, reaching peaks with this album and the previous one, "The Time Is Near...". Rock, blues, funky, jazz, a lot of improvisation and excellent instrumental technique make this work a great and gritty piece, among the best in the genre... more
I know very well his work with Pentangle, but I’m less familiar with his long solo career. This first album showcases a great instrumental and compositional technique, truly an excellent record. Now I understand where Kaukonen's guitar on the first Hot Tuna record comes from... more
He has managed to cause more damage him and his army of comrades inside the parliament in 2 years than Berlusconi did in 20 years of government. more

But why do certain "monsters" exist in Italian music? more
Ethnic and electronic, this is undoubtedly one of Gabriel's most successful works. The explosive percussion at the end of "The Rhythm of the Heat" gives you goosebumps, "Shock the Monkey" can make you jump out of your seat to dance around the room; and "Wallflower" is a stark and untainted sound poetry. Timeless and innovative! more

His performance in The Godfather or Scarface is five stars. Then they told me that to talk for twenty minutes with him costs 3500 euros, for a dinner he asks for 10000 euros, for a ride in his private jet 35000 euros... great actor, piece of shit! more
However, the guitarist (Massimo Varini) is good. more
The adjective "storyteller" is used to define many artists. But the word "minstrel" suits him better than any of his Italian colleagues... more
Already mentioned in the comment. A very beautiful album, the title track and "Small Hours" are two peaks, the rest is of very good quality, beautiful and enjoyable songs (Couldn't... A gem). An inspired Martyn but more "simple" and less experimental in his songwriting compared to the past glories. If you really want to hear the level of artistic maturity as a singer and musician that Martyn had reached at the time, what he was truly capable of in the mid-'70s, one should turn to the immense "Live at Leeds" from '76. more
Hallucinatory and visionary. A symphonic pop-rock capable of leading to mystical ecstasy. At times excessively mournful and (almost) whining, but endowed with a refined personality that entices you to listen to it once again. Lie back on the bed, locking your ears in the headphones of your stereo... this rarefied and dreamy journey begins... more
Personally, I believe we are governed by the lesser evil. I trust him little... and even less the others. The alternating of leaders, ideologies, and political currents that has engulfed us in recent years has literally destroyed me. It has only contributed to multiplying the frustration and anarchy of this nation. I would really like a Messiah to come and upheave all this. But I fear I will have to wait a long, long time... more
Very imaginative artists who are capable of writing fantastic hits, but I could never quite accept the fact that they filled their songs with samples. Music is creativity! more
