Desire to die, only the sky knows... How much I would give to have you back here. more
a really cool album, a bomb even today. Unfortunately, they became pop, with those 2 or 3 overrated shitty records. more
As a lover of grunge and alternative, for me this album is a masterpiece in every way. Their peak, without a doubt. more
When I think of the word 'underrated,' this fantastic band comes to mind, the grandparents of metal. more
An authentic pioneer, a composer of music impossible to label, and ultimately, a fragile soul defeated by his restlessness and general misunderstanding (too free and "syncretic" for academic circles and too contemplative and metaphysical to be appreciated by fans of mainstream rock). Forgetting his masterpiece "Dialoghi del presente" is a crime if you love "true music." more
I lack a definition for one of the greatest minds of the 19th century, superb. more
My idol more
I don't know if it's truly the best Savatage album, but it's certainly an emotional memory that shakes me every time. One of the most heartfelt and nostalgic hard rock/heavy metal albums I have ever listened to. Jon Oliva at his best, with tracks that alone are worth the career of hundreds of today's bands. How can one forget songs like "Jesus Saves," "A Little Too Far," "If I Go Away," "Believe"? A gem to be revisited from time to time. (9) more
The perfect result of the change undertaken with the previous one. Fratelli Oliva on the shields and pieces to be passed down like the title track, "When The Crowds Are Gone", "Summer's Rain". Great album. (8) more
Emotionally, it deserves 5 stars, but rationally, I give it 4. This is the album of true change, the one with which Savatage will embrace a more progressive and cohesive style. But above all, it is a testament to their compositional maturation. “24 hours ago,” “Legions,” and the title track are classics of the band. (8) more
Perhaps the worst album by Savatage, definitely the one I loved the least. A bland hard rock that here is quite devoid of ideas. Two covers fill an album that could use some revision. (5.5) more
Anyway, it was the best to make out with Telephone Mama playing in the background. more
Punk-Folk-Indie-Wave. What would an improvised band sound like in a dusty little alley? Genuine and brilliant. The debut is an epoch-making album. more
The bridge between the be-bop of the dawn and the free jazz of the '60s, immeasurable genius more
"Sanremo means nothing, and it's not by chance that I participated with Gianna, who means nothing." (Rino Gaetano) more
I NEVER COMB MY HAIR!!! A true madman. more
I have no doubt that this man has made history in Italian music: he certainly represents an aspect that cannot be underestimated, the most degenerative, rotten, and annoying one. Right off the bat, he's always given me the impression of a coarse, crude, and ignorant man, and the fact that many people identify with his songs is for me a cause for bitter reflection. I even made an effort to listen to his early albums, usually considered worthy, and they still made me feel like crap. Is this my problem? more
Among the best of their kind, and that should at least give pause for thought. more
"Oh, but she writes the songs by herself!" more
The new wave that I can still listen to. Incredible up to "This Is What You Want...". more
