Even though I don't find them amazing overall, I believe that Pet Sounds is one of the most beautiful and brilliant albums of all time. If Brian Wilson hadn't gone mad during his peak of creativity and had pulled another masterpiece out of his hat, the Beach Boys would probably be considered and celebrated today in the same way as the Beatles. more

A great gap filled, Sam Cooke... An album that is actually a true collection of "hits," but what songs, what interpretations, and what a voice, guys! It's a super fun record with no flaws in its just 29 minutes of music. Standout tracks: the title track, "Somebody Have Mercy," and "Whole Lotta Woman." In the latter, Cooke's voice and interpretation really move me deeply. Not a masterpiece, but it’s incredibly entertaining. A giant. more

Rightly overshadowed by his predecessor, but he still made waves. And not just in the realm of psychedelia: "Slip Inside this House," "She Lives," and "Earthquake" are all examples for which the Zeppelin should say, "I exist because you exist." From tears to "Dust," a ballad suspended between the nervous blues of the guitar and Erikson's dreamy interpretation. Timeless, like the sun imprinted on the artwork. more

Nice single-ass-busters amidst records filled with boredom and nonsense. Their sound is initially very interesting and peculiar, but after a handful of songs it becomes rather repetitive and boring. I give a 3 because they are engaging live, but it would be a 2.5. more

Not bad EVOL and Dirty, but they’ve never really told me much; they sound like the Patti Smith Group with different tunings, but certainly not noise. In fact, Patti makes a lot more noise with feedback at the end of her live shows (saw her live in June, devastating)!!! Anyway, I will delve deeper into them. A 3 for the sound anyway! more

Not bad at all, especially to listen to while goofing around! I really enjoyed Americana and Smash, along with a good portion of Conspiracy and Ixnay. In between, there are several fillers, typical of the genre after all. Dexter's voice is original, but after too long, it gets to my head. I give it a 3, which would be almost a 3.5 for what I know! more

The true Punks within Punk, both in terms of lyrics and music, as they got fed up with the usual "rebellious" musical scheme, which they then disintegrated with sounds of reggae, ska, pop, and even some jazz. I haven't listened to them in a long time because of some memories; I used to love them years ago. Absurd geniuses for their time. more

I loved them a few years ago, the only hard rock/glam metal band that ever struck me when I was drawn to those sounds! I still enjoy them a lot when I listen to them, especially Wings Of Tomorrow (metallic and badass), Final Countdown, and Out Of This World are also very nice; then a slow and relentless decline since 1991 with Prisoners, now repetitive and unlistenable. Live, they rock!!!! more
