Laura Pausini
Take that plug out of your ass and start doing your TRUE job:
The laundress! more
Laura Nyro
I will spend just one word to define her: outstanding. more
Maître Gims
He crapped out a musical abomination titled "Est-ce que tu m'aimes?" that has been annoying the hell out of me on the radio for weeks. I’m just saying that compared to the crap from this kind of eunuch, gang gang style, or whatever it's called, that Korean dickhead's song seems like Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. more
Zucchero
But fuck off more
Gentle Giant
Exactly.....better to withdraw early.....like the Beatles!!!! more
Laura Pausini
For goodness' sake, she has the voice, but she’s been singing the same damn song for over 20 years. more
Hunter S. Thompson
"I don't recommend the use of drugs, alcohol, violence, or madness to others, but it has always worked for me." more
Thin Lizzy
BAND FUNDAMENTAL!! Underrated by far! Throughout their career, they have achieved less than they deserved! more
Dope D.O.D.
they're amazing! more
Jean-Paul Poletti
There are more poletti on the deb than forms of life in Molise. more
Meghan Trainor -Marvin Gaye
ENOUGH MTV, ENOUGH! more
Ween -The Mollusk
Glorious American indie-rock band of the faux brothers Ween, true heirs of the Zappa-esque meta rock in mocking everyone, from eccentric folk like Donovan to Beatles-esque pop and even sea shanties. Brilliant are the psychedelic Mutilated Lips, the almost-prog Buckingham Green, and Ocean Man, which then ended up in the Spongebob soundtrack. more
New Trolls -Concerto grosso (n.1)
I believe that the choice of the Concerto Barocco was the winning card for the New Trolls, who succeeded where other, more renowned groups (read Deep Purple) had failed. The decision to rely on the verses of the Bard was also the right one. A classic of Italian prog. more
Van Der Graaf Generator -Pawn Hearts
A prog masterpiece with the unique and inimitable VDGG: the soundtrack of an existential crisis, with various suites painting the entire ambiguity of being human. For me, it's all worthy of an anthology, from the contemplative opening with just piano, organ, and voice (and what a voice) to the pure psychological terror of the sax-keyboard interludes. Oh, I almost forgot, there's also a cameo from Mr. Fripp himself just to delight. more
Caravan -If I Could Do It All Over Again, I'd Do It All Over You
Although Caravan reached their full maturity starting from In the Land of Grey and Pink, I have a soft spot for this album where their melodic fantasies still live in a middle ground between psychedelia and prog, always With An Ear To The Ground. more
Francesco De Gregori -De Gregori canta Bob Dylan: Amore e furto
An excellent tribute to Dylan from the Roman singer-songwriter. The translations are well done, some really successful ("Dignity"), others much less so ("Subterranean Homesick Blues"). Nothing particularly unmissable or new, just a lot of craft... recommended for all fans of Bob and/or the Prince, while others might find it to be a rather self-serving endeavor. Still, there are 55 minutes of beautiful songs. more
Jerry Lee Lewis
The first stage animal in the history of rock more
Burzum
Also known by the name of Ruttum, the two stars are due to the character's comedic nature. more
Nirvana
Cult band of the Seattle scene, unfortunately exploited by pseudo-alternative kids who want to be rebellious non-conformists, thus becoming a mass of fake angry teenagers with acne who are all the same. In summary, a good band ruined by their "fans." more
Arthur Penn -La caccia
The political staff of Penn in a hard-hitting film about the moral hypocrisy of the United States. The actors stand out, and despite the cuts imposed by the production, it remains one of the most poignant snapshots of the time regarding the American nation. (9) more
