Tom Waits
An artist, able to effortlessly transition from more "traditional" albums like "Blue Valentine" to a phenomenal and experimental triptych ("Swordfishtrombones," "Rain Dogs," and "Franks' Wild Years")...unique and unrepeatable... more
Nick Drake
A friend I would have liked to meet... delicate and refined like a pink moon... more
Nick Drake -Pink Moon
Delicate as a brook, piercing as a thin needle, refined as a sheikh's villa. Simply "Pink Moon". more
Megadeth
"Rust In Peace" soars high in the sky of metal. more
Pink Floyd
Among the craziest and wildest artists of psychedelic rock up until Ummagumma, with at least these three albums to hand down to history. Subsequently, after the peak of the "Barrett experience", they momentarily shift towards progressive sounds, without ever fully committing to it like others ("Atom Heart Mother" and "Meddle") but with excellent results, before embarking on a "space"-rock phase, from "The Dark Side Of The Moon" to "The Wall". The fallout between Gilmour and Waters will cause no small problems for the Pink Floyd, who cease to exist in 1996 (at least I believe so, lol!), although there was a desire to revive the old days with "The Endless River", but the good times are now over. They are not among my top 10 favorite bands, but at least they have the credit, along with Led Zeppelin and The Who, for introducing me to rock, so thank you Pink Floyd, for everything... more
Sex Pistols
Just one record, raw, filthy, but what a masterpiece, essential for the global spread of punk... ANARCHY IN THE U.K.!!!! more
Sex Pistols -Never Mind The Bollocks
Every now and then, the filthy and rotten punk does no harm; in fact, it is needed! A unique record, the complete opposition to the virtuosity of progressive rock. more
Victor Jara
"Pongo En Tus Manos Abiertas" is undoubtedly one of the brightest and rarest jewels of singer-songwriter artistry outside of the Anglo-American territories. An extraordinary poet, as well as a great man, who never gave up on living. The testimonies of his wife, who saw him with his resolute and determined gaze before he died, are a testament to this... more
Darren Aronofsky -The Wrestler
Essentially, this is the only great film by Aronofsky. Or at least, the only one I truly like, and that makes me tolerate his shaky cam (unlike the awful Black Swan).
Of course, the storyline isn’t original, but the ability to be moving while telling simple and already well-trodden stories is a quality that's becoming increasingly rare. Credit where it's due, and to a monumental Mickey Rourke. more
The Club
I wanted to go there, I swear, but then my father advised me to forget it so I wouldn’t ruin my reputation...

By the way... I wonder if the participants received any contact from someone...? more
Nek
Monina [yes, that Monina] wanted to psychologically cancel him. But what if the opposite happened? more
Goran Bregović
Unintelligible texts and scattered creativity in a single man. more
Tiromancino
I held on to the left hooks as long as I could. more
Billie Holiday
The Madonna was black. more
Francesca Michielin
The right crossover between Elisa and the early Tiziano Ferro. And he knows how to use the loops, unlike them! Who cares about Fedez? more
Protest the Hero -Volition
One of the most powerful and adrenaline-packed albums of the last 20 years, without the need to be hyper-technical like Dream Theater. more
Robert Wyatt -Shleep
At this point, you'll think I'm joking with such a statement, but in my opinion, "Shleep" is an excellent album, very modern, and above all, very bright yet refined. more
Shonen Knife
Small, colorful kokeshi dolls but tough, really tough. more
Disturbed
You don't touch the sound of silence! more
