Candlemass -Epicus Doomicus Metallicus
One of the best albums ever recorded in the history of metal, powerful, slow, captivating, technically superb! more
Deep Purple -Purpendicular
The latest noteworthy album from the band! Great tracks, with "Sometimes I Feel Like Screamin" standing out above all. more
War -Why Can't We Be Friends?
Il settimo album in studio della band funk americana di Long Beach, California. Mescolando diversi generi ed elementi di rock, funk, jazz, latino e rhythm and blues, 'Why Can't We Be Friends?'

Focus -Focus II
Album, eclectic and with a perfect blend of hard rock and a progressive sound reminiscent of Jethro Tull. A masterpiece! Holy smokes, what a suite "Eruption"! more
Focus
Honestly, I don't see this musical similarity between Focus and Jethro Tull. They are two completely different things. Anyway, this Focus is a really, truly interesting band... what a masterpiece "Moving Waves" is. And the debut is no less, huh! more
Manic Street Preachers
"We will turn the pop culture upside down and claim it as our own." more
Joe Strummer
What a shitty definition for an artist who kept pushing himself even after the end of his career with the main band. So humble, that he returned to play in clubs with the same drive as when he was igniting stadiums. Until his death, he poured out blood and sweat. more
The Velvet Underground -White Light/White Heat
How to Reinvent Rock - Part 2
Ingredients:
John Cale on his keys, the undisputed leader with the organ
Lou Reed and his distorted guitars
Maureen Tucker, a female drummer with the expressive power of a man
Here are the ingredients of one of the dirtiest, rawest, and most seminal albums ever. Mix them well, and you will have what may seemingly appear to be a sonic chaos. more
The Doors
A self-titled debut among the most representative of psychedelic rock in the second half of the '60s, a fantastic subsequent album ("Strange Days"), a handful of good albums, and the excellent "Morrison Hotel," before closing out brilliantly with "L.A. Woman," where "Riders On The Storm" seems to foreshadow, like a prophecy, the death of Jim Morrison. A unique band in their genre, though for me, the greatest will always be Ray Manzarek. more
Angel Olsen -My Woman
I appreciate Angel Olsen. She's a good singer and songwriter and she has that typical sexy and provocative attitude that really figures it out, mixed with a particular sensibility that you could easily deduce from her songs. The new album, 'My Woman', is a sort of concept album about who the women are in modern society and about Angel Olsen herself. Songs like 'Never Be Mine', 'Not Gonna Kill You', 'Heart Shaped Face' have the right pop attitudes to be masterpieces in radio rotation, while 'Sister' and 'Woman' are two sensitive electro and experimental portraits of women that a man could possibly recognize himself in as well. These songs consecrate her as one of the best contemporary female songwriters. Angel Olsen, you’re my woman definitely. Really happy that nowadays there are still albums so pure and concrete at the same time like this. more
The Velvet Underground -The Velvet Underground & Nico
A punk, new wave, rock and roll, raga rock, noise rock album from 1967. Simply history. more

Pink Floyd
To unite, within a long and complex career, phases of bold experimentation, sound and cultural revolutions, colossal conceptual rock masterpieces, and to have such a significant impact on the collective imagination speaks volumes about the greatness of this band. Great both as a cult band and as a band that sells millions of records. Just as one cannot deny the unique genius of the (unfortunately brief) Barrett era (only Velvet Underground & Nico can be considered as重要in the history of rock as Piper), it is equally absurd to belittle what came afterwards (which represents the vast majority of the essence of Pink Floyd), a phase that projected and consecrated the group as a reference point for generations of listeners and other bands. Unassailable monuments, I have nothing but admiration. more
Pink Floyd
Yes, undoubtedly a great band, an inspiration for many, it would be childish and biased to deny their greatness... Yet, I have no qualms in saying that the vast majority of groups from that era were crazier and more creative than they were; already in the strictly prog-rock realm, Genesis, King Crimson, Camel, and Gentle Giant proved to be more out there; then there's the whole Canterbury scene, krautrock, bands like Magma and Comus, even the art rock of Roxy Music and 10cc, all crazier and more original than they were! But I repeat, GREAT BAND ANYWAY!!! more
