Dire Straits -Alchemy
Great double live album this "Alchemy" that beautifully closes the most inspired period of Knopfler and company. An excellent rendition of the songs, with Clark's keyboards enriching even the older tracks (Sultans with keyboard and piano accompaniment is impressive) and shall we talk about the beautiful intros of "Romeo and Juliet" and "Solid Rock," which must have delighted a former Spring like Pick Whiters? Knopfler is superb, with exceptional live performances of "Telegraph Road" and especially "Once Upon a Time in the West" and "Sultans of Swing," already two of the best songs from the band in the studio, but live the former truly becomes epic and moving, while with the latter Knopfler undoubtedly reaches the peak of his career as a guitarist in the astonishing second part of the performance. A really great live album, for those who want almost all of the best from this band right away. more
Antonello Venditti
A singer-songwriter engaged just enough to carve out an important role in the 70s. From the following decade, he becomes a photocopy of himself, lacking creativity, with some covers of already existing songs. more

Fugazi -Repeater
Often considered their most representative album, probably rightfully so even if it's not my absolute favorite from the Washington group. Nevertheless, it remains one of the great must-haves of the '90s, a fantastic work, as always with them rich in energy and grit but also in fantasy, unpredictability, and even technical skill as musicians. High-level lyrics, as well as music. "Turnover," "Blueprint," and "Two Beats Off" are the peaks, but how can you forget "Brendan" and "Joe" #1 or "Styrofoam" and "Shut the Door," not to mention the timeless "Reprovisional" already featured on "13 Songs." What can I say, a masterpiece. more

Song About Leaving is a wonderful album!! The voices of Brooke and Ghetto together drive me crazy! Elegant, intimate, emotional: among the treasures of the past decade! more
The Church -Sometime Anywhere
Another album from the "Australian Church" deserving of top marks; lengthy tracks, expanded tempos, endless guitar excursions. Of suggestive and intoxicating effectiveness. The track "The Maven" stands as the pinnacle of a work that knows no drop in tone despite its length nearing eighty minutes: that voice, that chase towards the end with the guitars so psychedelic and enveloping once again confirm the band's crystalline class. I often return to this album, letting myself be swept away in a mystical-emotional vortex...Fly Home... more

Fugazi -13 Songs
My unforgettable soundtrack of the final exams, along with "No New York." This is one of the records I am most attached to, and it is a masterpiece for me. The column "Things that nobody cares about" has been brought to you by the detergent "Sti cazzi": it washes away the bullshit. more
