Mia Martini
I could say anything to elevate the greatness and respect I have for this artist, but I would prefer her music to speak for her, so often snubbed by people who thought it better to massacre it based on assumptions rather than enjoy their own artistic outlet. Thank you, Mia. more

Orson Welles -Quarto Potere
Remove the historical significance (secondary in my evaluation). This film is 100% the greatest film my eyes have ever seen. Capable of being relevant 76 years after its release.
Probably there will never be a cinematic debut as damn near perfect. Great Orson Welles. more
King Diamond
The story of heavy metal, featuring Mercyful Fate and King Diamond. Moreover, he is the classic artist that you either love or hate, and for me, there is no greater virtue. more
Blackfoot -Strikes
They may not be the best representatives of Southern rock from the '70s, but this is a great album, their best. "Highway Song" is their "Free Bird," rightly placed as the final track to showcase an excellent Southern rock album. more
Francesco Gabbani
Started well, but he's already doing the same thing again. I'm lowering it from 2 to 1.5. more
Amedeo Minghi
For over thirty years dedicated to meticulously rewriting the same song...but it's a beautiful and classic song. Better than the sad little songs that dominate nowadays. Any reference to the various Marco Carta (pecorina), ValeriA Scanu, Giuseppine Ferreri, Gigetti D'alessio is purely intentional. more
Jimmy Somerville
With the voice he had, he could have dominated everyone in the '80s. During a particular historical period, singing about homophobia to the sounds of New Wave. more
Pete Doherty
In reality, many recognize in the character only what the English tabloids have written - in my opinion - overly emphasizing his life offstage. I picture him as a solitary boy sitting down to write songs inspired by the books he's read, with his guitar beside him. I hope to continue to see him "clean" like he is now, because, in the end, the person is more important than the character. He has written great songs, and the first one that comes to mind is Love You But You're Green with Babyshambles. more
Pailhead
The industrial that meets hardcore, too bad the only legacy is just 6 (formidable) tracks.
MAN SHOULD SURRENDER! more
Albano Carrisi
Her voice makes me double over. I cry with the high notes. STEEL THROAT. more

Duke Ellington
The greatest composer of the 20th century more
Keanu Reeves
More than an actor, he is a face, and I firmly believe that "Matrix" would not have been the same without him. more
Possessed -Seven Churches
This is where it all begins; and by "all" I mean Death Metal. Before Death, Morbid Angel, and Obituary, there were Possessed. The singer Jeff Becerra and guitarist Larry Lalonde are only seventeen (did someone say Primus?!?) but they have crystal-clear ideas: to go beyond the Thrash of Slayer. To push even further, towards Hell. Guttural voice, lightning-fast riffs, a grim and satanic atmosphere; a rough production but still acceptable given the tight budget to record this cornerstone of extremism in music. The bloody and chilling "The Exorcist" opens the universal floodgates; they would never be able to reach such horrendous levels again... BURNING IN HELL... more

Alan Sorrenti
4 to "Aria" and the subsequent, 2 to everything else, so the average leans more towards 2 than 3. more
Foals
"What went down" is a great album; the rest didn't excite me too much, unfortunately for them, the band is among the pioneers of the hipster movement. more
Inspiral Carpets
Among various changes in frontmen, the most remembered phase, sometimes celebrated (by the old fans of the so-called Madchester phenomenon), is that of "Life," a truly excellent album that is a mix of the sounds brought back to prominence by Stone Roses & company, very 60's. It’s a shame it was a very short-lived experience, and like many other bands from that era, they got lost along the way. The live "21790" is also fantastic (if you can manage to find it). more
