Grand Funk Railroad -On Time
"I don't cry no more, I live while I'm flying
But I'll think back and you can hear me say" more
Jethro Tull -Thick As A Brick
this is a masterpiece. In the true sense of the word: an excellent work, that is, superior to others of its kind. Understood not as an absolute because we acknowledge the contemporary coexistence of multiple masterpieces. more
M. Night Shyamalan
Devoid of a cinematic strength capable of sustaining the pace of his films, with twists that are quite predictable and cheap, and sometimes bordering on trash (Unbreakable and The Visit above all). I still don't understand what you find in them... more
Soft Machine -Volume Two
Acrobatic sonic alchemy in balance between carefree and mocking "song-form" and daring Jazz-Rock, with the virtue of undeniable cohesion among the three. To summarize, a burst of carefree creativity. The roots of the so-called "Canterbury school." more
Jethro Tull -Living in the Past
I have two vinyl copies. Maybe I'll buy the CDs... more
Laurel & Hardy
The ineptitude and incompetence of Stanlio, who turns every action into a disaster, makes him the true comic character of the two, but also the naivety of Ollio, who blindly trusts him and becomes his victim. All of this, of course, is what makes us laugh. more
Blood, Sweat And Tears -Blood, Sweat And Tears
Sunday morning, a beautiful sun and this as a background. I couldn't ask for more... more
Laurel & Hardy
Even today, after years and years, the greatest of all. We laughed genuinely and without vulgarity. "The world is full of people like Stan and Ollie. There's always a fool to whom nothing ever happens, and one who thinks he's clever, but is actually the biggest fool of all. It's just that he doesn't know it." (Oliver Hardy). more
Nicola di Bari
I had one of his cassette tapes when I was a kid; I don't know how many times I listened to it. I think he made some great songs, if you contextualize the genre. Much better than an Al Bano, that's for sure. more

Jethro Tull -Aqualung
Will it be understood why the vinyl of this album is now worn out? more
Grand Funk Railroad
Hard rock. Period. more
Pink Floyd -Obscured By Clouds
There is truly a delta missing for definitive maturity. Yet in this last hint of shyness, they may be even greater. more
Bob Marley & The Wailers
Lately, I've been listening to Bob a lot; he's always been my favorite in reggae, which is usually not among my preferred genres, but he is the exception. more
Pink Floyd -Meddle
beautiful is beautiful. but why do I never think it? more
Isis -In The Absence Of Truth
It's difficult, even for a band like Isis, to replicate the glory of their previous two albums; indeed, as far as I'm concerned, "In The Absence Of Truth" remains a step below "Oceanic" and "Panopticon." There are no shortage of songs of enormous quality, featuring that celestial and ethereal sound that first envelops you, warms you, and then suddenly sinks you with abrupt shifts in sound that move with colossal, asphyxiating cadences of the Sludge Metal school. The nine minutes of the concluding "Garden of Light" once again demonstrate the greatness of a band among my favorites of the last twenty years. Listen to the instrumental part that concludes the piece, with those tribal percussion accompanying a guitar sound that "ascends" to total ecstasy...HOLY TEARS... more
Ed Sheeran
I like it when we talk about "smart marketing"; this is an example. Sorry, but if only there were more like this on the radio compared to other nonsense we hear. more
