The Velvet Underground
They were a stain of infected semen on a refined silk scarf, a drop of rotten blood in a fine wine glass; they were not the banality of evil or the rhetoric of good, they were the unsurpassable beauty of fierce vice. more
The Stone Roses -Second Coming
Misunderstood, released at the wrong time. more

Canterbury on the Navigli, for a debut album that is already great. In every sense. more
Patti Smith -Dream of Life
Intimately beautiful. An unheard-of Patti, less of a priestess but still tough. more
Hampton Hawes
Liquid piano elegance under the Californian palms, for an inspiration that is first sunny and sparkling, then gloomily glassy and melancholic, racing towards its own Sunset Boulevard... more
a-ha
Well done, definitely. Despite the immediate success, they released two albums that are quite detached from the hits of the moment, showing that they have more to say. more
Mötley Crüe -Shout At The Devil
Truly an excellent rock album: powerful, fun, arrogant, frivolous. Especially noteworthy is the ever-appreciated guitar work of Mick, but also Vince Neil's glam styling, the songwriting of the good Nikki Sixx, and T-Bone's agility behind the drums. Great performance from a tight-knit band, of course the masterpieces are others. more
Spock's Beard -X
Simply a superb album, every now and then our guys, as usual, go a bit overboard but it remains one of the most dense and brilliant albums ever, one of the brightest examples of why progressive music, even though intricate and cerebral, can evoke immense emotions. The long suites, "Jaws of Heaven" and "From the Darkness," are probably the best things they have ever composed. Who speaks ill of good Nick!!! more
Pink Floyd -More
Of course, a minor work, a relaxed meditation on the direction to take. The heavier tracks (The Nile Song and Ibiza Bar) are interesting, with a full sound that brings out the 4 when they do traditional rock! However, in my opinion, the best part remains the organ riff in "Cirrus Minor," monumental. more
pierangelo bertoli -oracoli
the best of Bertoli as far as I'm concerned. more
Genesis -A Trick Of The Tail
This album will accompany me on my way back home from the sea to the damned usual cornfields... a nice companion hoping to escape the terrible traffic jam of the return. May Collins place a hand on our heads and protect us.. more
Fabrizio De André
One of the few artists who manages to be overrated, but still 5 stars! more
Led Zeppelin -How The West Was Won
I have another 5 titles in mind, and with this, the best live performances in the history of music. more
