Do you know when you try to invent a new and delicious smoothie, throwing in bananas, tomatoes, kebab, beef, chocolate, coffee, and dozens of seemingly nonsensical and unrelated ingredients? Well, if that smoothie had worked out, it would represent Area. As it is, it’s harmful and better left undrunk. You can always listen to Area and experience the same pleasure and satisfaction, though. more
You can't really look at Eno... but if Mahatma Gandhi gets a fine, what do you do? Give him a 3? What the hell. more
I was reflecting on how foolish it is to downsize a brilliant career by averaging it out with recent performances. Eno was a member of the legendary Roxy Music, made some of the best records of the '70s (there are at least 4 masterpieces among his solo works), inspired the development of a myriad of musical genres, produced some of the most important (and beautiful) records of the new wave, and even got involved in fourth world music with Byrne and Hassell. more
If the vote goes to the Career and what ENO has done, I undoubtedly give 5 stars (no doubt). If, however, I have to judge the last little things......... dumbass, tell it to your sister, Know-It-All (just for the rhyme). more

I met him a bit late, but now I'm trying to catch up. I can only say that he forced me to reevaluate quite a few of my musical beliefs. If only he had had more time... life is sometimes truly unfair, but I like to think that he's Up There jamming with Hendrix on some old blues... and that would really be a Beautiful Feeling. more
His goal is to eventually play the Strat so fast that he can travel back in time, finishing a show before even starting it, so he can have more free time to dedicate to his true passion, the piffero! more

how sad... a fool acting like a 16-year-old "I can take on the world, I know everything" and saying the most ridiculous clichés. go get a job, you bum! more
The "emptiness" of the character (after a rather unusual debut for the major Italian market) has revealed itself in all its dull transience. With the last album (?) he has exhausted every theme both in terms of lyrics (that same damn self-referentiality that has now become unbearable) and musically (assuming there was ever any). Deplorable and pointless. more
