In the beginning, they really crushed it: progressive enough, without being too showy or flashy, hard rock made with soul and originality (the redspecial-voice mix of Freddie is unique), ballads that leave you breathless. No two ways about it, guys, these four clever ones made good music. Then they dropped off quite a bit, although they still produced some great tracks. One of the few bands that, after going commercial, maintained an identity and made great songs. more
