I've never loved the "cursed" rockstars. Respect and admiration go to those who, under similar conditions, managed to survive. more
People overthink too much. The various talks about chords, technique, and even pitch are frankly painful. Just listen to "In Utero" and watch "Live At Reading" for the rest. more
I have always wanted to dance like you... more
..violent, very hard.. the voice of Roslie abrasive sandpaper.. not to mention those crazy depraved screams and that raucous, animalistic sax.. more
Discussed and hated for their business attitude, but thank you for existing and for what you have done and continue to do, just pure damn rock which is what matters. And great rock. more
Too commercial. more
Simply unique, fantastic, unforgettable, magical. No one will ever match them, absolute geniuses, they considered and defined themselves as a "pop group" but they were never pop, they managed to go beyond psychedelia (which no one has ever done like them) and beyond prog, marking history like very few. Simply the number 1, a rating would be reductive, you don’t give a score to an immortal. If I really have to, of course, 5. PS: Yes, enough with this bullshit about Barrett, come on, it’s getting old. The usual legend. more
"Barbie Girl" is a masterpiece, few dicks. more
A pure, clear, bright, and crystal-clear pile of shit. more
he created simply stunning pieces (il volo, diamante,) and even copied himself... a giant of Italian music, better than many others (vasco for example) some albums are superb (oro incenso e birra) and (spirito divino)..... more
since 1996: 2 hard rock albums (load-reload), 1 cover collection (garage inc.), 1 live album with the symphonic orchestra (S&M), 1 pure nu metal album (st. anger), 1 collection of live recordings from 1981 (the bay area early days), 1 metal-revival album featuring "the unforgiven III" (death magnetic) ... few ideas, but well confused. more
But why them and not the Gem Boy???? more
Personification of a genre that has always made musical ignorance its reference point. It’s not enough to scream demonic hymns covered in studs, playing sequences of chords at a more primitive level than Battisti but with distortion cranked up, on a beat of 300 bpm, putting on makeup and making faces that wouldn’t even scare my niece, to create music. And I’ve never been able to explain their success to myself. more
In the photo, we can admire Umberto in all his shape and "beauty." Curiously, but not too much, he resembles a playful version of Liguori. more
A ogre who sweats like a pig. But he has a "sfaccimma" of a voice. more
I wake up feeling terrible too. For at least over twenty years. Consistency is everything in life. more
But in the end, it was never revealed, is Billy Corgan actually SuperVicky's brother? Or not? more
Among the most musically appreciated things of the 90's more
One of the craziest and most genius groups, incredibly sick blues with the great Tim Kerr on guitar. more
A GENIUS, "The House of the Spirits" is one of the most beautiful books I've read recently. more
