Mediocre guitarist. Blackmore could have played his pieces with his eyes closed and hands tied behind his back. I don’t understand why when talking about Cream they say "super group," when the only one worth saving was Ginger Baker. If Cream were a super group, I wonder what Deep Purple were. more
Mediocre band. The classic banal and commercial mainstream rock group disguised as something else thanks to the use of circus-like noises and electronic effects. Nothing to do with Deep Purple. more
Very few people can play with depth and speed. Almost all those who play fast do so in an undisciplined manner. And Coltrane was one of the few capable of playing quickly and with intensity. more
Good, but a bit overrated. A Blackmore on a good day would devour him whenever he wanted. more
Turinese, false and courteous. more
Slow, hard, dark, heavy rhythms, they are the legendary "Rammstein"! more

Absolutely nothing to do with Deep Purple! more
"Nothing to do with Deep Purple." more

the bimbominkia version of Nirvana. Just one chord from Jon Lord's Hammond could wipe out their entire discography. more
the depressed version of Green Day. Nothing to do with Deep Purple. more
Unfortunately, there are people who have nothing to do but play some instrument in absolute mediocrity, presenting countless works that are decidedly useless. more
scarsucci. they have little to nothing to do with rock. with music in general, even less than that. Nothing to do with Deep Purple. more
The first four albums hover around adequacy, perhaps the fourth even a little bit more. After that, nothing that can be defined as music. more
This story is old, I know, but it goes on. more
His 3 studio albums are objectively very beautiful, I would say nearly on par with Deep Purple. However, it's a shame that live, musically it wasn't all that great, because it was indeed spectacular, but it's better to watch his concerts, due to all the tricks like playing with his teeth or behind his back, than to listen to them, because he relied on feedback, wah wah and other effects, instead of focusing on the notes to play. A bit overrated. Much better than Blackmore. more
The best guitarist of all time. Forget about the one above who says after Hendrix and Fripp. Blackmore comes after no one. The greatest musician of the twentieth century. more
They already have the striped uniform, I wonder when they will attach the iron ball to the ankle. more
