Eric Clapton

Mediocre guitarist. Blackmore could have played his pieces with his eyes closed and hands tied behind his back. I don’t understand why when talking about Cream they say "super group," when the only one worth saving was Ginger Baker. If Cream were a super group, I wonder what Deep Purple were.

Eric Clapton (born 30 March 1945) is an English guitarist, singer and songwriter, influential in blues and rock. He rose to prominence with the Yardbirds, Cream, Blind Faith and Derek and the Dominos and has had a long solo career.
